Local sources also stated, that the Turkish occupation has been intensifying military reinforcements in Kilis align to Azaz on Saturday morning as well. This happened some hours before the attack on Afrin canton and its villages with shells and cannons.

Meanwhile, anger is rising among Kurdish people and their friends in Europe as well. Protests against the Turkish attacks and occupation took place in Den Haag (NL), Aachen, Cologne, Hanover and Bremen (GER).

The protestors in Europe are aware of Turkey’s goal of putting pressure on YPG, YPJ and SDF and thus restraining the Liberating Raqqa Campaign. They were sending regards and strength to the people living in Afrin and are convinced, that attempt to occupy the area will be defeated like Kobani’s resistance. Greetings were send to Kurdish people, YPG, YPJ, and the democratic revolutionary forces in Afrin canton and al-Shahba areas assuring that the Kurdish community overseas will be the voice of Afrin and al-Shahba.

Among the speakers were Sinam Mohammed, DAA representative in Europe and members of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Feisal Haji Mansour, Delal Amud, Ronahi Qamishlo and Mizgin Adam.
